On : 2024-09-05
AICUF Karnataka organised a two-day state-level 'Be the Light' transformational leadership programme at St Joseph’s College, Hassan on August 30-31. The event brought together 120 enthusiastic AICUFers from 20 units across Karnataka, all eager to engage, learn, and develop their leadership skills.
The programme served as a beacon of inspiration, with participants empowered to become transformative leaders in their respective units. A highlight of the event was the investiture ceremony of the AICUF State Council for 2024-25, marking a new chapter in leadership for the organisation.
The sessions were led by Fr Maxim Dias SJ, Br Princen SJ, Br Ovin SJ, and Fr Joyson SJ, who shared their insights and guided the attendees on topics such as AICUF @ 100, collaborative leadership, communicative skills, NLP, social analysis and group discussion on leadership in action.
Another key highlight of the event was the panel discussion, featuring youth: Shaik Salman, Jassica Santhmayor, Nelisha Lobo, Amith Pereira, Augustine Neil, and Anson Clement Nazareth. Their diverse experiences and perspectives provided the AICUFers valuable lessons on leadership, community engagement, and the power of collective action.
