Xavier Sadan

Xavier Sadan is a Jesuit Retreat and Renewal Centre, located at Naguvinahalli, some 6 kms from Srirangapatna on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway, and about 12 kms from the Mysore suburban bus stand. It is easily accessible by road because of the frequency of buses from Mysore to Srirangapatna and to Lakshmipura. This centre offers 8-day and 30-day Ignatian Retreats, Courses on Religious Life and Formation, Refresher courses in Religious Leadership and Financial Management, Awareness retreat, Inner Healing Retreat, Monthly Recollections, Short retreats for Junior Religious and many other programmes. 8-day and 30-day retreats, as well as courses for formators, spiritual directors, religious leaders etc. are a regular feature of Xavier Sadan. The Seminarians of Mysore Diocese come here for their recollections every month. It is an overnight programme. Several resource persons from outside give us the much needed helping hand to successfully wade through these packed programmes. Now we wish to place this centre at the service of the Laity, particularly the members of the Parish associations such as the Parish Pastoral Council, Legion of Mary, St Vincent de Paul Society, and the youth.
