Located in the heart of Bengaluru, Ashirvad is a vibrant Jesuit community and apostolic centre of the Karnataka Jesuit Province. Since its establishment in 1975, Ashirvad has been a pioneering space for interreligious dialogue, spiritual formation, counselling, youth accompaniment, and social engagement. Rooted in Ignatian spirituality, the Jesuit community at Ashirvad fosters understanding among people of different faiths, promotes peace and harmony, and creates opportunities for reflection, learning, and collaboration. Through initiatives such as the Inter-Religious Harmony Movement (IRHM), the Centre for Social Concern, retreats, leadership programmes, and educational outreach, the community continues to serve the Church and society by building bridges of dialogue, justice, reconciliation, and compassionate service.
