Three Jesuits pronounce final vows

Frs Anthony Lawrence, Cyril Castelino and Pratap Chandru pronounced their final vows in the Society of Jesus at Mount St Joseph chapel, in Bengaluru on January 21 Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, provincial of Karnataka province, received the vows.

During the Eucharist, Fr Joseph D'Mello SJ preached an inspiring homily, urging the vowents to become bridge-builders in today’s world that propagates hatred and majoritarianism. 

After the Eucharist, while felicitating the vowents, Fr Vaz encouraged them to wholeheartedly embrace the Society. The vowents expressed their gratitude to their formators, family members and the Mount St Joseph community for hosting the ceremony. The celebration, which concluded with a fellowship meal, was witnessed by Jesuits of the province and a few family members of the vowents.
