Over 270 youth attend YUVA 2024 in Hassan

YUVA-2024 (Youth United with Values and Attitudes) was held at St Joseph’s College, Hassan on June 23. Over 270 students from all faiths from Hassan and Chikmaglur districts gathered in the morning for the one-day programme.

The inter-religious prayer set the tone for the day followed by motivational words by Fr Henry Saldanha SJ, superior of Hassan Jesuit community. He urged the youth to make use of the opportunities to broaden their vision.

There were several input sessions on self enhancement, motivation, peace and harmony, use of media and addictions, along with group activities. A lot of group dynamics and spot games kept the whole group enthused. It culminated with YUVA circle of sharing and reflection.

Highlight of this YUVA was that it was wholly animated by some youth and pre-novices of Navasadhana and guided by KJES Youth Works.
