Hassan-Chikmagalur-Mysore Jesuit family members gather in Hassan

Hassan Jesuits hosted the Jesuit family gathering of Jesuits of Hassan-Chikmagalur-Mysore region on May 21. Family members of over 25 Jesuits gathered for the programme at St Joseph’s College, Hassan.

The programme began with the eucharist officiated by Provincial Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ. Fr Shanthraj R, broke the word of God. He highlighted the gifts the Lord gave to his disciples while he ascended into heaven. He also mentioned the importance of elders in nurturing the vocation. The melodious choir led by the pre-novices added grace to the liturgy. The mass was followed by refreshments and an Ice-breaking session conducted by Fr Edward Philip.
